It's a half-time shuffle funk feel (swing eighths) The melodic line is featured in each of the wind sections throughout (Trombones, Saxes, and Trumpets) Solo changes are written in Alto 1 and Tpt. 3 (although the featured recording has Guitar replacing the Tpt. solo) Hopefully you enjoy my spin on this classic tune.
